I.m tired of cleaning altho I must say I DID get to get out to town yesterday. A friend called and invited me to go with her. I jumped at the chance to have a woman my own age to converse with. 
So far my new eating plan is going good but the groc. store was a bit trying yesterday. Theres an awful lot of bad for you food on those sheves....and there all at eye level and brightly colored to draw you in...Cookies, candy, ice cream and OH MY GOD the bakery! That could kill you just from your tongue hanging out......Well anyhew, skip the drama, I made it thru without giving in to the sweets devil on my shoulder.....Yay me!!!!!!I have two female friends now that I feel close to. I think thats an important thing when your my age. Any age for that matter....Someone to gab with and laugh with and have them say your name out loud.....Hey suz! Its not mom, gramma, wife, just suz.....Now dont get me wrong, I adore my kids, my grandkids, my great grandson, my hubby. My life would really be nothing without them, but just once a week or so, just for a few hours, its also real nice to be..... just me....
