Friday...The last day of feb. yahooooooo!

Good morning,
We got a bit of snow last night. Not too much though. Im up early even tho I had a restless night. I have a lot to do to get ready to go down to Lauries.
Well, We watched Idol kick off last night. They got rid of the right guys and not too upset about the girls. I only have 3 favs. The Irish gal, The 17 year old boy with the fantastic voice. No not the girlie guy.....and the dark haired rocker guy. My picks will be the 17 yr old will be American Idol and the rocker will come in second or the irish girl.....Too much cryin going on there tho. Did ya notice? Paula seems to be alert this year. She actually can talk without slurring, and stay awake. Must be that new boyfriend......later......

Thursday

I felt better today, less gloomy. Maybe its the knowledge that we are going down to Lauries tomorrow. [ God willing] Theres talk of snow tonight, maybe 2 to 4 inches. I hope there wrong about that. irv hates to drive in bad weather....
I,ve pretty much got everything ready for the trip. Cleaned and vacumned today. Tomorrow, feed animals and load car. The turkeys are out here again looking for more food. Ill toss corn out tomorrow....Roo will be coming after school and as usual, I love having her here....later then...

Ive been very sleepy today. Slept on and off and cant seem to get enough. I DID manage to make 6 loaves of french bread and mannocotti for us and christys family. A few cookies for them and apple crisp for our dessert. Bed made and dishes done. Not too bad for a sleepy day. Im tired of chasing turkeys though. They are the dumbest animals. remind me of vultures....creepy.....

Tues morn...

I,m up early this am. 5 am. There was a bit of snow blowing around last night. I have to go to town and get a card so I hope it clears. I will send a card and flowers to Sharon and hope I can live with that. I slept pretty good last night for a change so I feel up to making bread to day. Ill send a loaf home with christy.
All the faldaral about that picture of Obama. Probably posted by the Clinton group. Gads these are the people we vote into the highest office in the land. They have no class at all. All I know is we certainly need a change and soon. Our economy ois taking a nose dive big time. 700 dollars to fill our home gas tanks.....Now thats bad, real bad.....

Today was enough yet not enough.....

Headed into town early. Got my hair cut and colored and it feels good. The girl doing it was not feeling well though so I hope she didnt give me anything.....Went to the grocery store and spent 145 dollars......The shocker was when I got home and saw the gas was delivered and they ha d left a 600 dollar gas bill on the house and 140 on the shop. No way can we afford this.....sheesh!

The turkeys have been here on and off all day. Ill have to stop putting out corn for awhile. I surely dont want them living here permanently and for ever. I dont mind the deer and bunnys.

I lost my first post from here. It was about Dons death.....His memorial is Friday from 11 to 1. I dont see how I can go and still do lauries. I will not miss out on Jacks birthday......Guess Ill just send flowers to dons.....Talk to Irv tonight about it.....more another time....
