This bothers me....

Did you ever notice that when the polish folks came over here, they didnt get a number on the telephone? Or the germans? or the Jewish people? Or the Japanese? You never heard, " If you want to speak polish, dial one....If you want to speak german dial two....If you want to speak Jewish dial three, ect, ect,ect. No, they all had to learn English, didnt they? Why do you suppose now.... we have to dial one, to speak our native language? What is different about this group of people that they get a number on our telephone? That directions for anything you buy are in two languages? Come on.....someone explain to me why this is......
