Good Morning all....We had a great weekend with Laurie and Jeff. We all went golfing on Saturday and I got my first 59...Ive never been under 60 before. Wow did that feel good. Christy had a great shot on the last fairway too. Hit it about 60 yards right into the hole....whew!!!! Laur still gets frustrated sometimes but when she connects, that ball flies...Irv had a good score too. Sunday we had a cookout here and just sat and visited until they went home. Today its mowing and bread baking for me. I have to get a lot of other things done outside, but they will have to wait a day or two...
I think the orioles are finally back. I think I saw two out there, but didn't have anything out there for them, so I had to run an orange out, and fill their liquid feeder....Now I wait....Have a good one ya all... Talk to ya later....

Friday night..

Ive had a rough day. I woke up this am to find my DSL was not working. That meant the dreaded call to the support guys...We worked over the phone on the problem for two hours, and finally came to the conclusion, that the tech guys would have to check the lines....I went to town and when I got back the DSL was on again...yay!!!!Thank God and the greyhounds...Then I had to make an even more dreaded call to the tracfone help line. I wanted to transfer minutes from my old fone to my new one.....Oh yah, that will work...These guys are ALL from India and very hard to understand...They are disgustingly polite even when I bite their heads off.....and I do...It took another two hours of..." Would you please hold while I speak to my supervisor?" "Will you please hold while I enter information in my computer?" Will you please hold while I pick my nose???????AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!! OK I held, and held, and held....Finally it was taken care of, AFTER I told them to go screw themselves a number of times...NO? Ok I didn't, but it was right on the tip of my tongue...HONEST....Soooo, things are okay now and I hope I sleep away all these daytime nightmares...

Thursday

I will NOT recommend the movie, Wall e....I thought it was a bit much...boring in the first half and too much junk in the second half. The voice of the second robot really got on my last nerve. OK... this is just my opinion, but there it is....It was fun being with the young girls tho and having a quick lunch with Di. I came home after, and rototilled the garden, and turned on the waterer...more....Today I would like to mow, but it might rain, so we'll see. Seems like this summer is going so fast. We haven't really done much, except golf.[ which I love ] seems like it getting harder for Irv to get things done. Like getting the camper in shape. In truth he should retire, but then we wouldn't have as much money to do stuff with. hahahahaha. Double edged sword it is....I'm not at all sure if he retired, that things would get done here any hew...He's slowed way down. Oh well, I love being home. Its my sanctuary.
I have to go through my closet....I'm going to get rid of stuff I don't need. Tired of the clutter...Clutter makes me feel stymied...Now if I could just unclutter my brain...I'll hit uninstall or delete...That should do it.....See ya....

Hello.....Looks like a beautiful day ahead. I'm taking Marissa and Laura to see Walli. Having lunch at Kentucky fried chicken. Not a great choice, but on the way and fast. The girls like it...Diane might meet us there. My garden is doing well altho seems like it should be bigger. I did get it in late tho...If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I have to get in there and till and weed. This fall, I'm putting alot more compost and manure on there... all over. Till it in good. Might run a soil test first, to see what it needs and where...I stopped at a farmers market for a few things yesterday. Got two good sized Hostas for 10 bucks. Nice....
Back to trying healthy eating again....fruit and veges, fruit and veges..Too much sugar seems to make me sick these days....Have to be careful with that...
Did you hear, now they want to give cholesterol drugs to kids? I don't know how you feel about that, but I say NO WAY!!!!! We are so over medicated now our bodies defenses no longer work. Let kids get dirty. Let them hug a kid with a cold. Let them build up their own immunity to things. Stop drugging our kids.... Late-ta.......

Good morning world....or just those that read this Blog...Its overcast this morning after rain last night. My garden needed that. Irv mowed lawn yesterday whilst I made bread and did laundry, so the rain after was a good thing. Our holiday weekend was good. Parade and golfing on Friday. Golfing on Saturday and really should have stayed home that day. Sunday was a quieter one...I hear Laurie and Jeff went golfing on Saturday too. She mistook a gooses head for the flag tho, and knocked him out. There he was by a small pond, just innocently doing his thing and WHAM, got hit with her ball. After he recovered, he waddled into the water to get away from these mean humans....hahahahaha. seems he has since recovered fully so we don't have to call the SPCA....The biggest birds we have on our courses, are a few robins pulling worms....Hmmmmm, I seem to remember Diane saying she hit one of those while golfing....
I stopped and saw Dean and Chris and roo yesterday. Its so nice to have them home again. Sounds like they had a great vacation though. Caught lots of fish...I'm taking Roo and maybe Laura to the movies this week. Gonna see WAL-e...
Today its clean house and do laundry....Have a great day now....

Thursday

Its a beautiful cool morning. Sun and shade stretch across the lawn. Bunny's running around, unscared of me, getting up and finding my gun. This is Irv's last day of work for a few days, yippee? At least I hope its yippee...We have to decide what were going to do tomorrow. Go to be with kids on the boat or go to the parade here in town. maybe just golfing....whatever!
The alarm went off on our septics Monday so had the guys out to pump another 100 dollars worth of poop....This bowel movement every day is getting expensive...Then what isn't? Irv filled up his truck yesterday and bought a 12 pack of beer. $87.22 cents. Wonder how high it can go? There was still a full parking lot at Wal-Mart so people aren't staying home yet...WOW! I went to Yonkers's to use the gift card Christy gave me. There were sales galore with 70 % off on many items. I could have stayed all day. No! I didn't. I did buy 45 dollars worth of tops though....fun....
I sure will be glad when dean and Chris and roo get home from camping. Man I miss them...Ryan's doing his own thing so I don't see him either...Oh well, Ill just have to play with Irv tomorrow..Tee hee......
