foggy friday

Very cool this am. 50s this morning, but only getting up to 69 later....Soon the geese will be flying overhead to say goodbye for another year. I dread the leave raking I,ll have to do. Funny, I used to enjoy that when my back was younger.....theres alot of things I used to enjoy!!!!hahahahaha.

Ill probably have to pick beans again and tomatos. I want to start making sauces from the tomatos. Pizza sauce, pasta sauce, ect. One more canner of beans will do it...

I bought stuff for ryans house hes renting....I filled a small wooden trunk with bathroom and kitchen stuff. Fun....I have to get down to Shannas new house to and take a gift for her house too...

Today I hope to get outside when it stops being so darned foggy and cold.......I have nothing more to tell you so Ill leave for now. Maybe something exciting will happen before tomorrows posting. Late Ta....

Back again

Been awhile but here I am again. My hip is finally good, and its the best feeling in the world. Well....one of the best anyhew. I can think of a few others that were better...The Birthday camping trip was great and the weather cooperated. We had such fun and having little Jack there was the tops...He is the most animated little guy. He tells his stories with hands flying and emotions soaring...What a delight he is.

Irv and I got all the outside work done the last two days, just before the rains came. The garden is coming in now, so I have to keep an eye on things...Soon Ill be canning beans and tomatos. I dug one potato hill and they are real nice this year. The rest of them and the carrots can wait awhile yet..Today its clean the frig time...phooey! Not my favorite job at all..I went into Younkers yesterday....bad idea...I found animal print undies and a silky top. At 67 one would think those days would be over, but noooooooooo....They still made me feel wonderful and sexy and alive...Now if someone would just agree with me on this, it would make my day....tee hee hee...Have a good one, Late Ta.......

Gonna be another beautiful warm day. The plan is to mow the rest of the lawn, feed the birds, and change the water filters. Now if my hip stays in place I should be able to get er done.....Tomorrow I go to town to get the groceries for camping this weekend and see if maybe, just maybe there is still a bathing suit out there that doesnt make me look like a toad...

Yesterday was Irvs birthday, but we,ll really celebrate it at the campground with the family. Little jack will be coming too and I can,t wait to be able to hug him and see that amazing face. Hes another child that you can read his emotions on his face. Skyps is an amazing program though and bringing jack and I together....

Hello, its August

Yes, here it is August already....Soon the kids will be back in school, altho I have only one grandchild left in highschool. Great grandson is in preschool in Illinois. I cannot believe it already.
I,m not at all sure about this chiropractor thing. I have another app. on wed. and we are going to have a serious talk....I,m still in pain off and on so nothings really changed. This will be my 3rd app...one would think that if its just a muscle it would be healing by now...I need to get on with my life....
WE had a storm this am at 1. I had gotten up from sleeplessness,[ is that a word?] and looked at the radar and there it was on our doorstep. Irv got up and went out to put my car in the shop. Sweetie that he is...They said there could be quarter sized hail. All we got was sideline wind and rain and lightening. Went thru fast and then nothing.....theres not even a puddle this morning....We have been so dry here tho, I guess the ground just sucked it right up....slurrrrrrrrpppppppppp!
Man I need to sleep better tonight. Im so tired right now but dont dare take a nap....I so fondly remember when I could sleep till 10 am and still not want to get up. Now I,m lucky to get 6 hrs a night...Shit, getting older sucks sometimes....Of course there are other things about it that are good. Golfing with my semi retired hubby...yah thats a good one....
Well before my eyes go closed for longer then one sec. and my head hits the keyboard...Ill say Late ta!~!!!!!

Tuesday...

Well, I'm biting the bullet and going to see a chiropractor for my hip. Scares me a little but something must be done. I'm tired if the pain and babying this leg...I just hope it helps....
Had a great weekend with family and loved being with Ryan on his 19th birthday. I keep seeing that little beautiful boy that I cared for for 14 years. I wish time could slow just a little...
My golfing is improving steadily and that makes me very happy....The fairway is no longer my nemesis....I can handle it!
We finally got the much needed rain yesterday. It started on our heads while we golfed, but most waited until; we got home. There was even thunder and I loved it....
Im off to get ready to go to town and lay down on the chiro couch....Pray for me....hold my hand.....I dont wanna.....Ok ok Im going....Late Ta!!!

Dry as a bone day

They say rain....no rain...It keeps missing wood county. Its like we are surrounded with a shield that keeps the rain at bay. Guess I,ll have to water the garden again today. I would even like to hear some thunder rattle the windows....
I cleaned all day yesterday and wow, that was hard work! Today I think I deserve a shopping trip........ For what you say? Well....I would like a bathing suit that made me look like I did when I was 40....I,d like a pair of jeans that DIDNT make me look 10 pounds more then when I was 40....Suz! WAKE UP!zzzzzzzzzzzz...Hurumpf!!!! Oh man was I dreaming again? Okay then, Ill take some things to goodwill and just buy some socks and undies...Come home and water everything and be happy with that. I thought about getting my hair permed but something is telling me not too....Maybe I,ll just color it and do some highlites....Yah......
Irv is rethinking the second deck out back...Now it will join up with the first one which will make it all bigger. I like that idea...He,s sooo smart....Love the guy to pieces,,,,You all have a great day now and keep smiling...Late Ta....

Rain? maybe....

We sure could use a good rain. Its been very dry here, and the ground is starting to yell its need of moisture....Way to big of an area to water with a hose....
My hip has been so bad of late, but today it feels much better. I think the rider has a lot to do with it.....Not good. I'm thankful I have Adam to come and mow for me now.
The camper has to be cleaned inside before our trip, and Roo said she would come and help me. Irv washed the outside yesterday. Its so hard to admit the need of help, but I do need it with this darned hip.
I finally made a 55 score golfing. I was sooo happy about that. Its evidence of an improvement in my game....I sure hope my hip does'nt cause me to stop playing. Well I had better start my day now. Late Ta.....xxxxxxxxxxxx
