Tuesday...

Well, I'm biting the bullet and going to see a chiropractor for my hip. Scares me a little but something must be done. I'm tired if the pain and babying this leg...I just hope it helps....
Had a great weekend with family and loved being with Ryan on his 19th birthday. I keep seeing that little beautiful boy that I cared for for 14 years. I wish time could slow just a little...
My golfing is improving steadily and that makes me very happy....The fairway is no longer my nemesis....I can handle it!
We finally got the much needed rain yesterday. It started on our heads while we golfed, but most waited until; we got home. There was even thunder and I loved it....
Im off to get ready to go to town and lay down on the chiro couch....Pray for me....hold my hand.....I dont wanna.....Ok ok Im going....Late Ta!!!

Dry as a bone day

They say rain....no rain...It keeps missing wood county. Its like we are surrounded with a shield that keeps the rain at bay. Guess I,ll have to water the garden again today. I would even like to hear some thunder rattle the windows....
I cleaned all day yesterday and wow, that was hard work! Today I think I deserve a shopping trip........ For what you say? Well....I would like a bathing suit that made me look like I did when I was 40....I,d like a pair of jeans that DIDNT make me look 10 pounds more then when I was 40....Suz! WAKE UP!zzzzzzzzzzzz...Hurumpf!!!! Oh man was I dreaming again? Okay then, Ill take some things to goodwill and just buy some socks and undies...Come home and water everything and be happy with that. I thought about getting my hair permed but something is telling me not too....Maybe I,ll just color it and do some highlites....Yah......
Irv is rethinking the second deck out back...Now it will join up with the first one which will make it all bigger. I like that idea...He,s sooo smart....Love the guy to pieces,,,,You all have a great day now and keep smiling...Late Ta....

Rain? maybe....

We sure could use a good rain. Its been very dry here, and the ground is starting to yell its need of moisture....Way to big of an area to water with a hose....
My hip has been so bad of late, but today it feels much better. I think the rider has a lot to do with it.....Not good. I'm thankful I have Adam to come and mow for me now.
The camper has to be cleaned inside before our trip, and Roo said she would come and help me. Irv washed the outside yesterday. Its so hard to admit the need of help, but I do need it with this darned hip.
I finally made a 55 score golfing. I was sooo happy about that. Its evidence of an improvement in my game....I sure hope my hip does'nt cause me to stop playing. Well I had better start my day now. Late Ta.....xxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning thoughts

Hi there, whoever reads this. Work keeps me from posting often, but here I am today. I,ve decided that Wisconsin is a beautiful place to live. There are some rolling hills and fields of corn and hay, potatos, and beans.
The multi green colors of the majestic pines, mix with the dark greens of oaks, and maples, and White Birch trees are a wonder to see. At certain times of the year, there are multitudes of daisy fields, and mustard yellows. As long as I,ve lived here, I still find it beautiful to see. Everyone should take a minute or two to look around the outdoors and fine something beautiful to enjoy...
Irvs back to work today, and I actually miss his presence. This 3 day work week now is a good way to get ready for his complete retirement, when he,s ready.....Who knew????
My golfing is improving, but I still have issues with some par 4 fairways....Got to get a handle on that! Love this game of golf with a passion...Wish we could have started it all sooner in our lives.

Pooped Sunday morning...

Yah, I'm pooped today. Two days of golf and a long boring parade yesterday. I don't think we won't be going next year. To the parade that is. I don't even get goose bumps anymore... A parade should give you goosebumps, don't you think?
I have to water the garden and all my potted plants today. The grass needs mowing also. I,ve had two days of play and now its work time again.
I talked to Christy last night. It sounds like there having a great time camping. They were eating their fresh caught fish for supper. Well, I.m not quite awake yet so Ill sign off. Have a great day now. Late Ta..

July already..believe it?

Hi all, Its a cool day here, so I'm doing inside things. Adam got all my mowing finished yesterday and thats a load off of me. I pulled a muscle under my rib and that made it tough to do stuff. Thank goodness for my neighbor boy. He makes some money and I get things done.
The garden is coming along great now and soon tomatos will be on the vines and peppers too. Flowers on the potato plants and the beans are growing fast. Ill have to string them up soon as they are pole beans...Diane and Meg gave me a beautiful Dogwood bush for a Bd gift. I have to have Irv dig the hole for me so I can plant it....I,d do it myself if my rib was good...
Dean and Chris and roo are up north camping for the holiday. I always miss them...Hope they have a wonderful time though, and catch lots of fish. Ryan gets the house to himself....Probly doing the happy dance...Well when he gets home from work anyhew....
So..... new eating program for me once more. Cutting calories and staying away from the sweets is the plan. Hope it works this time. I love desserts don't ya know....Just cant have them in the house anymore. Just like with the smoking cessation, I have to get rid of all evidence of fat food,. All reminders of the stuff that is making me fat and uncomfortable. You go suz !!!!! I hope you all are enjoying summer and life is good to you. Late Ta.....

post birthday

Hi. I know its been awhile and I'm sorry to keep you waiting, but I,ve been busy with summer life. Laurie and Jeff are up for my birthday weekend. We went golfing with all the family yesterday. There were a few sprinkles, but all in all it was great fun. My worst score ever, but it wasn't about that. We then went to Hudsons for dinner, and altho the service there sucks, and the food isnt the greatest, it all went okay. Even Ryan was with us....yay!!!!! Back to the house then for a few games Of Sequence, and lots of conversation and antics....We had a birthday cake that Roo made for me. It was delicious... To bed at 11.30, up at 5.30. What the heck is wrong with me?
Today they will come here again before they head home to Illinois once more. We were trying to plan a camping trip for Irvs 70th birthday but its not panning out so far...Darn! Maybe we can solve some issues today.
I have to get in the garden tomorrow and weed and till. Hill up the spuds, and clean out the radishes that went to seed. I want to go see my friend and do some shopping. The grass will need mowing but maybe that can wait. Ill get Adam over to help me again. Wow I'm sleepy. Maybe I should go lay back down again.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Late Ta...
