weekends almost over...wah....

Yup, its Sunday and a new week will start. After the rains on Friday, the weekend was very nice. The neighbor boy, Adam got the trench all backfilled so now tomorrow the satelitte guys will come to put the cable in and replace the dishes. This better work after all this....
Excitement last night. Roo was home alone all day while Dean and Chris did some things in town. I called her off and on just to check in but.....the last time I called at 7.30 theres was no answer..and .Dean and Chris didnt pick up on their cells. Okay so we jumped in the car to go check. Both of us in our pjs...Got to the house and saw the inside door open, no lights on. Panic setting in. Roo! Roo! where are you? Shes nowhere to be found, and my heart is racing, Im so scared! Then I heard the dog in the shop, so I knew she must have put the dog in there, and went somewhere, leaving the door open in her hurry. We rushed back home and tried Chris again on her cell. This time she answered and said roo went home with Linda because she heard the cops looking for a guy with guns drawn in a field. Holy shit what a relief to know she was okay! I dont know if they found the guy or not. My scanner didnt say.....Had the 22 by the bed all night....
Then Shanna called, and Jack told me he fell on the stairs and cut his chin deep, and had to go to the hospital for stiches...Bless his heart, I guess he was a little trooper...They were going to put something on those stairs to make it less harsh on a chin, or knee, or head...What a day!!!!!

Just a few thoughts....

Someone [ you know who you are] recently asked me how I find time to Blog....Well I blog in the early hours of the morning before most of you are even up....That is my coffee, blog time...Without that I would be nutso....once I'm done, my busy day starts, and there isnt much time for anything but work. This Blog is my healing and therapy...
Were about to go golfing...Yes, Im late getting to my Blog, but grass had to be mowed. Its still very wet out there, but I did manage to get a lot done anyhew....Irv got all the pipe in the ground, to the consternation of his back muscles.... Oh, but of course that will not stop him from golfing....Vat you tink?
Did I say that Irv bought me a new golf bag? If I did, I apoligize, and if I didnt, then Ill say its great....Separate holes for each club....No more, WHERE THE HECK IS THAT PUTTER?????

I.m wearing a chartruese t shirt. Yes, thats what I said, Chartruese. Do I need attention or just don't want to get lost? The older I get the brighter the colors....What the?

Is it over?

I think the rain is done for now. Oh boy! we must have gotten 3 inches! Water sitting every where. The trench we had dug is full and backfilling will be a mess. Such is life in the Larson area...
The glass guy is about done. Its 4.05 and he started at 1.30.... Now I should be able to wash those windows and actually have it look like I did....There sposed to last at least 10 years without fogging up again. By then I probably wont be able to see it anyhew....
Shanna dear heart, I'm glad to hear you are still reading this Blah Blah blah, and I will try to keep it light and interesting if at all possible...Some days that doesnt seem to work....When all the water outside drys up, I will be mowing for days....Maybe we should blow cigarette smoke on the lawn to stunt its growth...Oh thats right, I quit that nasty habit.....

Been getting golf lessons via the internet. I hope they do me some good...It looks easy, but turns out to be harder then H___ to copy the moves...Maybe if we had started at a younger age it would have been easier...Bones are refusing to move in those odd ways golf demands. Oh well, its still fun and maybe , just maybe, I will hit the score I'm aiming for after all.... Late Ta.....

drippy Tuesday...

Summers here and I have mucho to do, so haven't posted here lately. Its a rainy day, so maybe my time will be plentiful today. We have a very muddy trench out back, waiting to be filled in. It holds pipes that will contain the cable to our sattelite. This in turn goes up thru a pipe in the ground, that will hold our new dish. We had to get it off the roof where the tree leaves got in the way of the signal. Hopefully this will make out sattelite more viewable.
In my vege garden, there are onions and radishes coming up. I'm anxiously waiting to see the little tendrils of corn and potatos poke thru the ground. Should be soon, especially after this nice rain.
We had a wonderful holiday weekend...Laurie and Jeff anf Dani and Rik came up.
We bowled and golfed and ate and played games. Rik is Dani's boyfriend and is from England. His accent is adorable and so is he. We all love him already. I'm so happy for them...I love being with all the kids...Well except for Dean and Chris and Roo. They were camping and were missed.... today I will clean in here and make some bread for Irv and hopefully a good supper. I may have to get the oil changed in my car tomorrow...New wipers are on the menu also....Sooo, you all have a great day and find something to smile about....Late Ta!

Drip, drip, drip....

Is anybody out there? I have no way of knowing because no one comments here. I'll assume someone is reading this somewhere in lala land. It was a rainy day so I went and played the day away. I bought more flowers as if I need anymore.....and had lunch with a friend. Nice all the way around. Too wet to work outdoors, but after two days of that, I needed a break anyhew....
I'm sooooooo mad!!!!!! Our satelitte for local programs wont work because the trees are now in the way of the signal! We watched American Idol all along, and now that its almost over........nothing!!!!!!! I could scream! I have to get the info from Dean and Christy......Blah!!!!!
Well I hope that Danny wins, but the odds seem to be in Adam's favor....Doesn't matter though because Danny and Chris will have radio hits and Adam will have Broadway! Too bad so sad....
Still ticks me off tho.....Now I'll have to watch CSI Miami reruns every night....I like the show, but come on.....theres a limit!

I'm thinking of drawing again. That would be better then reruns. I saw a landscape today that moved my soul.....Yah,

It Begins.......

The non-stop lawn work and flower watering. Oh, I could let it go, but then my inner self that needs beauty, wuld cry and cry...The dandy lions, which arent so dandy by the way, keep popping up as soon as you mow. Maybe I should make some dandeline wine....No!!!!!
I have two, count them, two oriole feeders up now and the birds are constant...Feed feed feed...Sure are pretty though.
Nate is coming out with his new Chevy cobalt soon. He wants me to take a ride with him. If I can stay awake long enough I will go...nice to see him getting stuff he works so hard for...
Tomorrows another outside work day,to finish stuff up before it rains. Then wednesday God willing, I will have a day of play......Go to lunch with Rita Lateta

Happy Mothers day girls

I got beautiful flowers from Laurie and jeff and two cards. One from Laurie and one from Jack. Those cards are so special to me. More then words can say... Irv gave me a beautiful card and Azalea plant this morning. I hope this one can survive outside later.... I hope all of you have a wonderful day doing what pleases you the most....Late Ta....
