Monday

Morning all. Another Easter has come and gone. We went for a buffet with some family members and had a wonderful meal. Dean and Chris and Roo came back to the house after, and we sat and visited for awhile. Watched some Tv after they left and then went to bed early....Today is overcast after a week of sunny days...Walter Horbans wake is today at 4.
Im happy today that the Navy seals shot those pirates, and saved the captain of that ship....Its about time we acted like strong people, and not let those terrorists[ thats what they are after all] win.... The captain was a brave man and deserved heroic measures to get him back.... We watched the movie, 'Doubt" Saturday night. I thought it was a good movie but the acting was superb....I found myself hoping the priest wasnt guilty, because I really like that actor and it seemed like he was just trying to help. Nough said, I dont want to ruin it for others....Good movie though....Because of Easter I'm a day late taking it back, sooo they will charge me again. Oh well, it was so worth it...

Monday in PEETSVILLE

Good morning all....the suns up and the birds are feeding. The finches are bright yellow now after a long winter of off brown colors....Did I mention that a week ago, I saw two canadian white geese? They were floating on the cranberry marsh. Beautiful birds.....I also saw our friendly male pheasant just off the highway. I saw the reason he hasnt been around of late....Yup, he has a mate now. Hopefully soon there will be little ones following along behind...
.Sleep is still illusive for me and its robbing me of my humor... I need a switch that could shut off my brain at night...I dont like being crabby and needing a nap every afternoon. Sleep perchance to dream...please......
Well Id better get my act together. I DO have things to do today and sitting here in my robe is not going to do it....Ryan might come over later to make my Incredimail work....You all have a great day...Late TA...

snowy wed....

The recycling truck just flew by which means I FORGOT TO PUT THE STUFF OUT! They come once a month for petes sake! Now it will collect out there for another month.! Its snowing lightly out there and that just about makes me crazy. Sheesh! April 1st and its still winter....
Tomorrow I'm going to Plover with my friend Rita. We,ll go to Kohls and eat lunch and stuff. I want to find something nice to wear for Easter. Hopefully the weather will clear and be a bit more springlike....I sure enjoy her....
For today I'll clean the porch and perhaps my closet. I really should make sure there isn't an Easter outfit way in the dark cavern of my closet, that I've forgotten about...Who knows what lurks way in the back....Most likely a size I no longer can sqeeze into....

Im bored!!!!!

Yes I am. Irv is watching racing and golf and racing and golf....Blah!!!!I went out for a walk and collected 4 old golf balls. We hit them into no mans land last summer. The sun is shinning but the wind is out of the north so not too warm. I made 2 loaves of vienna bread and 2 loaves of a healthy wheat, soy bread that is actually very tasty...I think Ill make spagetti and a salad for supper. The bread will go good with that....

Im getting a new prescription for my eyes in a couple weeks. Man those things are so expensive!!!! There had better be a big difference for that price!

Glor is still in the hospital but getting better I hear so God willing she will be home soon...

Man sickness is hell and hospitals are even worse....

I think Ill go read awhile until supper. Of course THAT will probably put me to sleep so maybe its not a great idea... Oh well whatever.....Late ta

just another Manic Monday

Monday is NOT my favorite day..No it is not...People have to go back to work and all the things I let go over the weekend, are now stareing me in the face. DO ME!!!! DO ME!!!!!The refrigerator is looming in the kitchen, with things on its shelves, that defeat discription... I swear I heard screaming coming from that area.... Okay, okay, Im exagerating a wee bit, but you try to amused a bunch of folks that read this blog....I Will try to get my work done today and stay away from Facebook and that enticing puzzle laying on the table. Its calling out to me...SUZZZZZZZ!!!!!
Tomorrow is play day. Meeting Diane for her birthday lunch, and a trip to the Amish store. Its been awhile since we've been together for the day...Im sure looking forward to that...Friends...a necessary part of life.... Late Ta.....

Yay! I finished the bathroom and its all clean and smelling new again....Gads it sure tired me out though. Didn't think it was that big a job.... Good to get rid of the yellow walls....ugh! What was I thinking? Now tomorrow Im off to walmart or target to get new carpets and stuff....The weather has cooled off considerably so I dont have a desire to be out side working. Irvs home from work and went out to do more disassembling of the fence. Oh my God.... is that even a word? I was so angry at Idol last night. They kicked off the cute blond girl that sang good, and kept the big guy and the jazz singer....Puke!!!!! Id better start voting now. I want danny to win the whole thing. Or the little redhead, who by the way was in the bottom 3 last night. I couldnt believe my ears. Shes one of the best on there!!!!! Also! This new rule that the judges can keep one person if they want to stinks!!!! While the blond was trying to resing her song, they were all huddled up deciding if they would keep her or not. I could tell she was so nervous and sang it worse then she did the night before....Jerks!!!!! stupid judges!! Oh well, Late ta....

Spring?

Ive been neglectful here. It seems I was invited to join Facebook and soon got addicted to it.
With the weather being so nice I was also outside doing a few things.
Irv and I are taking down the fencing around spazz's condo hutch. Diane wants the hutch for laying hens, so that will go. I love this weather, finally can go out without a hat and gloves....Today a bit cooler and Im going to attack my bathroom. Remove all the goodies in there and prepare to tape the room off for painting....Any offers of help? Said Henny penny...
Ive talked to little Jack [ great granson] twice now this week. He chatters away like a little magpie....Its a bit hard to hear him with my phones, so sometime I just have to say, " oh wow!' hes so animated and adorable. It seems he is getting to use the digger we bought him, and loves it.....I knew he would....Maybe they will come up soon....
