Friday morning

Yay.....its friday....I did go golfing yesterday and had a great time. The weather was gorgeous and the company the best. Now as to my golf score.....well...uh.....let me see..... Opps! I missed......Lets just put it this way.....heeeeeeeeelp!!!!!!! I sure need more practice......
Today I'm meeting Di for coffee as she left her camera in my car. When I get back home, I'll work outside if it doesnt rain. I want to plant this evergreen bush I bought..... Where to plant it??????
My new cell phone is not set up right!!!!!! They have it so I cant call out from here, unless I call collect! Did you ever hear such bull roar???? I still cannot figure out where my old one went. I never lay it down anywhere. I carry it in my purse or my pocket, period. Oh well, what ya gonna do????? Suns out bright and beautiful.....Just gotta love it.

Golf day

Brrrrrrrrr. I'm going golfing with Di and Jill this morning. Hope we don't freeze our patooties off. This is my first time out this year so I'm a bit nervous. I always have fun with the girls tho.
Watched Idol kickoff last night. Sure as I predicted, its the two Davids left. I'll make sure and vote next week. I want David Cook to win, even tho I really love the young Davids voice. he has time to mature a bit.... The next show we watch is, So you think you can dance. That starts this month too.... oh, we have such a fascinating life....
Rough night again last night. Irv's coughing, and my inability to stop my mind from running amok, kept me awake for the better part of night. Why is it that when I lay down, my thoughts go crazy? Sheesh! One would think that being older would slow it down. What do I need to think about? I KNOW how to do everything now. I know where to go and how to get there. I make lists.....I shouldn't have to think! Last night in bed, I was planning David Cooks career for the next 10 years... Oh well, I did get him a gig at Caesars Palace....
Now, If I can just think about a good golf score today........

Wed. and I missed Idol!!!!

Yup, I went to roos concert last night and missed Idol. Naturally that would be the night David C. sang one of my all time favorite songs.....First time ever I saw your face..... Oh well, Ill download it from Itunes later. I wasn't about to miss roos concert...Getting down to the wire now,,,,Tonite Syesha will go if I know my stuff....
I did buy a new Kodak camera with powerful zoom features...Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it.... technically....I'm not too savvy....OK back to work or nothing will get done.. Later folks...

I canceled my app. for that test. Irvs coughing kept me up all night so Ill go another time. make it later in the day too. I would have had to get up at 5am for petes sake. Cloudy and rain moving this way for later... Our ground hasnt had a chance to dry yet this spring. No! I wont complain too much. It could be much worse. I might go into town today to look at cameras. I need more zoom power. Well, we are supposed to spend the rebate check, right????Do ya think I could find a american made camera? Yah right! fat chance of that.... Also gonna look for some low growing shrubs to put around the septics......Yay! I love shopping..... Bye ya all.........

Mother,s Day

Ok Jan wants a story so here's mine. Some of my kids and grandkids went to Rivers Edge for a buffet....We had an 11.30 reservation....I had made it for 9 or 10 of us but only 8 showed, so the hostess asked how many. I said 8 now. She said they were getting our table ready and it would only be a few minutes....We waited..................Then she said another gal had given our table to another group, but not to worry.....she'd put us in the back room....Wayyyy in the back room where no one else was. It smelled a little musty but what the heck. Then we waited.............for the drinks gal to come in.....Finally she did but forgot Irvie's coke...He waited..........and waited.....Christy finally went out and got another girl and he got his coke. Then we went out to get food and most of it was gone already! WE should have waited for them to refill but...what the heck......They did refill but by then I was out of the mood.....The desserts were good though...Maybe next year Ill forget about mothers day. I think Ill celebrate it on fathers day instead. The men always seem to have it nice on their day. The weathers better too...

Monday blue Monday

I hate Mondays! I wish it could go right from Sunday to Tuesday. There's a let down after the weekend that I just cant get a hold of....The sun is shining though so Ill live. Ate more then I should have yesterday, so today I get back on the train to healthy eating. Finish cleaning out the greenhouse today I guess. Carried out 3 huge garbage bags yesterday. Thank goodness the garbage men come today. More later ......

saturday here in Pittsville

6.21 and its NOT raining. How did that happen? I haven't had my coffee yet so excuse me if I'm not to clever.... Irvie and nate are to come over today. There gonna help Irv cut up the downed pine, and other sundry trees that are have died from who knows what. I'm never too happy with the left over stumps but what ya gonna do? While they do that, I will make barbecue for lunch and then mow grass if at all possible. It just isn't drying out there. Later this afternoon we will go to the bowling alley to see about our new balls we ordered. Maybe bowl if we can.
Irv still has a bad cough and not too energetic. It sure is hanging on... Hope I don't get it....no no no.....
Sounds like our mothers day plan is to go to a buffet at Rivers Edge, then to Christy's for games. I don't care what we do as long as I don't have to cook or work. I just want to be waited on and pampered and adored. Yah right! What world do I live in? It cant be the real one.... Have a great day you no comment people!!!!!
