Good morning!!! Those that have to, are back to work and those that are lucky like me, get to work at home.. Hopefully sometime today, I will get time to clean the car, and put in my car mats that Irv bought me for xmas....The suns is up for another day, and the grass is greening up real fast. I'll take a walk around the yard, and see what needs tending, now that the puddles are gone. I bought a new battery for my lawn mower, so I'm ready when the time is right for mowing....I'll be going for those tests Wed., and am not looking forward to that. I just have the feeling that it is a waste of time and the insurance money. Huge amounts of that I'm sure...

Don't take your granddaughter shopping. I don't know about yours, but mine cant make up her mind. Cant make a decision. Shes soooo particular, we end up getting nothing.
I really wanted to buy her something. It sure was hard to do that! Gads, I love that girl. She reminds me of how my daughter Laurie was at that age...
Well, Id better get my arse going. I have many things to do today and Mondays are not my favs...

Sunny Sunday

Morning all who read.... the sun is shining brightly and all is well. I,m taking roo to Marshfield at 10 to exchange a pc game she bought. I am told it doesnt work right. OK walmart, do the right thing and let her get a new one without too much hassle... I will also get a new battery for my riding lawn mower and some flip flops for roo. Hopefully when I get home I can go for a nice long walk... Jeff is at his land but will head back home around 3...
We had fun bowling yesterday but I didnt get it together till the last game. 161....Irv had 206 his first game then Irvie got 200 the second game and dean the last game....they took turns...Irv ordered a new ball for his spares and I ordered a new ball thats a bit less weight....

Rain and Earth quakes!

We have rain and So, Ill. has earthquakes! Boy oh boy thats close to home. Funny though, I didnt feel a thing.. Son-in law, Jeff is coming up to his land this am. Maybe hes running from the quake as they live in Ill.. Too bad Laurie isnt coming with. She has a Drs. app. I guess.
Guess its bowling tomorrow. Too wet yet to golf...Darn! Im off to get the spare room bed ready for Jeff and then to the bank and groc. Gonna make a fish fry for supper...When did it get mandatory to have a friday night fish fry? ok so much for that. Please folks, if you post a comment leave a name at the bottom so i know who you are. theres a couple that I have no idea who they are....thanks a bunch.

Good morning. One more gone from Idol, and 6 more to go...I didn't like the way they called them out. I thought it was sneaky and stressful for the kids. Do I have to write a letter? First they had Kristy on the side of a winner, therefore making her think she would stay. Then they switched David
Cook, [a winner] over to the other side and put Kristy with all the girls. That made it obvious that she might go. I'm going to start voting this next week! It looks like I have to go shopping today. Irv needs some pants in a new size. .His middle section has increased a size so his work pants no longer fit....I'll go to Penny's and see what I can find for him. I'll try very hard not to look for anything for me. Were talking bowling on Sat. I hope my thumbs hold up. I have an issue with dermatitis on them...ouch!
Suns up, but rain on the way for tonite or tomorrow. The grass is greening up and I should get out there today and do some more yard work...I'd rather be golfing. The news is all bad on TV these days so we won't go there today. Its enough to make a person crabby! Have a great one and keep the faith...

Ok, so it was another so so night, Dog. Granted, Mariah Cary is a hard act to follow but come on. Carly started out good. Actually brought her voice down for a change, and I like it, but.... Then she had to yell the rest of the song and blew it for me. Syesha did a good job, but I think, tried to copy Mariah's style too much in stead of her own. Brooke was weak and unsure of herself. I liked what Kristy did, especially when her voice came out stronger, but she could have done better. Remember, this is nearing the end. David Archeltta was very good and in my opinion the best of the night. The judges liked David Cooks number but I didnt get it. Jason was adorable as usual but I didnt feel the song was right for him. It had its moments. I have no idea who will leave tonite, I have a feeling it will be Syesha. For some reason shes not a fav... As usual, Paula drives me nuts with her halting style of talking...on and on and on and says NOTHING.... Tonight will tell the tale...
